Arlington Bible Fellowship
ARLINGTON — Arlington Bible Fellowship Church will host a “Walk Thru the Bible” Old Testament seminar in September.
The interactive live event is the flagship of the international ministry by the same name.
The seminar will be presented in four parts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28.

Catholic Charities
PERRYSBURG — In celebration of Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo’s 100th anniversary, the agency will host a gala featuring former University of Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz as the keynote speaker.
The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 6165 Levis Commons Blvd., Perrysburg.
Tickets are $150 per person and include dinner with complimentary wine and a silent auction. A cash bar will be available.

Diocese of Toledo
TOLEDO — The Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo will host the eighth annual Mass honoring firefighters at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 130 Avondale Ave., Toledo.
Monsignor Chistopher Vasko, pastor of St. Patrick, will be the celebrant.
All area firefighters and their families are invited to attend Mass and brunch at the Blarney, 601 Monroe St., Toledo, immediately following.
St. Patrick’s has come to be known as the firefighters’ church, and where an altar shrine is dedicated to St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters.

Harvest Time International Ministries
Harvest Time International Ministries will offer You’re Not Alone, a support group for family members of addicts.
The first meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 6 at the church, 237 George St.
Meetings will be held weekly for the time being.

Legacy Five
The Legacy Five gospel group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hancock County Fair grandstand, 1017 E. Sandusky St.

McComb Church of Christ
McCOMB — The McComb Church of Christ, 400 Ackerly St., McComb, is seeking volunteers to help pack meals for Haiti.
Packing will be done from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 7.
Last year the group packed around 16,000 meals; the goal this year is 25,000 meals. Each meal costs 25 cents. Volunteers are asked to contribute $5, enough for 20 meals, or $10, for 40 meals, to help with costs.
A meal will be served following the packing.

McComb UM
McCOMB — The McComb United Methodist Church will meet at the McComb Local School cafeteria at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Robin and Lisa Kershner will give the message and a children’s message. Pictures of the damage to the church caused by a fire Aug. 1 will be shown during the service. A children’s worship and preschool room will be available during worship.

Our Lady of Consolation
CAREY — Peach pies will be featured at a bake sale Sept. 6 and 7 at Our Lady of Consolation National Shrine in Carey.
Volunteer bakers have turned some 500 pounds of peaches into peach and raspberry-peach pies. Homemade potato chips will be returning after a summer hiatus.
Also featured will be cherry-rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb, pineapple-apple, mixed berry, rhubarb, apple, Dutch apple, blueberry and elderberry pies. Pizza; several kinds of bread; apple, raisin, nut, apricot and cherry sweet rolls; doughnuts; noodles and angel hair pasta; and a variety of cookies will also be sold.
The sale will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 6 and from 8 a.m. to 1 pm.. Sept. 7 in the information booth across from the basilica.
All proceeds will go toward the church’s proposed elevator project.

Trinity United Brethren
FOSTORIA — Trinity United Brethren Church, 358 Thomas St., Fostoria, is planning special services over the next week.
The Cornerstone Gospel Quartet, from Lithopolis, will present a concert during the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday.
Revival services with the Rev. Lane Loman will be held Wednesday through Sept. 7. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Sept. 6, and at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 7.
Loman is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He has been lead pastor of churches in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Indiana, serving in the Evangelical Methodist Church, the Church of the Nazarene, the Friends Church and the Free Methodist Church.
During his 50 years in the ministry, he has traveled 27 years in itinerant revival ministry speaking and singing in denominational and independent camp meetings.
Loman also produces the Lights of Spiritual Guidance, a radio ministry started in 1937 by his father, the late J. Harold Loman. The program is heard on stations in North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.
