MOPS May drive seeks to collect 20,000 diapers

Findlay MOPS and The Rebecca Foundation will hold their third annual diaper drive May 1-14, collecting diapers for low-income families in Hancock County.

Last year, the drive collected nearly 14,000 diapers. This year’s goal is 20,000.

New and opened packages of diapers (labeled by size), new and used cloth diapers and cloth diaper accessories such as wet bags and fasteners, and new containers of wipes or diaper creams will be accepted. Public donation boxes are available at the Great Scot on Broad Avenue and at First Presbyterian Church, 2330 S. Main St.

Monetary donations may be made out to First Presbyterian Church, designating “Diaper Drive” in the memo line. All of the money donated will be used to purchase diapers for the drive.

All diapers will be donated to Hancock County Help Me Grow, Open Arms and Christian Clearing House.
