Scrapbook session set in Fostoria

FOSTORIA — Good Shepherd Home will host its 10th annual Scrapper’s Crop from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 on the lower level of the nursing home, 725 Columbus Ave., Fostoria.

The object of the event is to create a Good Shepherd Home scrapbook of the past year’s activities and events. Participants will have the opportunity to lay out two 12-inch-by-12-inch pages detailing a Good Shepherd Home activity or event. Pictures and information on the event or activity will be handed out on arrival. Scrapbookers will use their own supplies to create the layout.

Those who finish the two pages will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Good Shepherd Home Dollar General Store which will be open from noon to 3 p.m., or a gift certificate to Close to My Heart, a scrapbooking vendor that will be available for purchasing supplies if needed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For the duration of the event, participants may work on their own scrapbooking.

Lunch will be provided and prizes will be awarded throughout the day with door prizes including scrapbooking items.

Preregistration cost is $10. Space is limited. Registration is due by noon Jan. 24. In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled for Feb. 10.
