The Hancock County Retired Teachers Association will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Dark Horse, 4136 N. Main St. The speaker is Hancock County Sheriff Mike Heldman who will give an overview of the current drug situation in the county. The meeting is open to all retired teachers and their spouses.

Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio is offering assistance to grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. The agency has started a new support group which is open to any grandparent living in Hancock County. Meetings are held at 10 a.m. every Wednesday at the center, 1941 Carlin St.
