Summer play dates through Trinity Jenera’s Mornings With Mommy program will be held at the Jenera Community Park, south of the village on Ohio 698, on the first and third Mondays of June, July and August. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., parents, grandparents and caregivers may bring children of any age to enjoy playing outside with other children while the adults visit.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 203 W. South St., McComb, is offering a free “Adult Vacation Bible School” open to adults of all ages in McComb and area communities. The event will run from 6-8 p.m. daily, July 16-20, with the theme “Fruit of the Spirit.” The daily schedule will include refreshments, a hymn sing, an interactive Bible study led by the Rev. Ralph Mineo and a community enrichment presentation. Registration is not required, but is helpful. Oakdale United Methodist Church, 24994 Hancock-Wood County Line Road, Deshler, is hosting a Run For God — The 5K Challenge class starting this month. The challenge is a practical guide to running and a training plan aimed at running a 5K, which includes a Christian focus. The group is for people of all ages and abilities, with the goal at the end of the training being a 5K race held at the church. The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. April 10 and will meet every other week for classes and regularly to run together.
