A program for toddlers about animal tails will be held at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday in the Discovery Center at Oakwoods Nature Preserve. The same program is offered each time. There will be a story, games and a craft. The program is for children 3 years old and younger accompanied by an adult. Siblings may attend. The free program requires no registration. The Arts Partnership is giving Findlay the opportunity to take Tuesday lunches outside in the summer with Fifth Third Bank’s Courtyard Concert Series. Courtyard Concerts are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays from June 20 through Aug. 15 in Latham Courtyard located at 510 S. Main St. Local musicians are paired with a local restaurant which offers lunch options. Concert admission is free, food prices are often $7 but may vary with the vendor. There will be no July 4 concert in observance of the holiday. The Courtyard Concert Series is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, Spectrum Eye Care, The Courier, WKXA, WFIN, 106.3 The Fox, Flag City Title Agency, Hancock County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Heck Rentals, Ohio Arts Council and Dean Sound. The Forest Fiber Fanatics, a group of knitters and crocheters, will meet twice a month at the Forest-Jackson Public Library beginning Tuesday. Those attending may work on their own projects, or help work on projects for charity. St. John’s Lutheran Church, 203 W. South St., McComb, is offering a free “Adult Vacation Bible School” open to adults of all ages in McComb and area communities. The event will run from 6-8 p.m. daily, July 16-20, with the theme “Fruit of the Spirit.” The daily schedule will include refreshments, a hymn sing, an interactive Bible study led by the Rev. Ralph Mineo and a community enrichment presentation. Registration is not required, but is helpful.
