Three charged after I-75 stop

State Highway Patrol troopers on Thursday arrested three Kentuckians on Ecstasy possession charges after a traffic stop in Hancock County.
The Findlay post reported finding 2,421 Ecstasy pills during a 12:51 a.m. traffic stop on Interstate 75 near U.S. 224 in Findlay. They estimated the seizure to be worth $24,000. The car had been pulled over for failing to display taillights.
A drug-sniffing dog from Findlay Police Department alerted law enforcement to the pills underneath the rear seat of the vehicle, a 2014 Ford Edge with Florida registration, according to the post.
Driver Darius Reaves, 42, and passengers Martise Corley, 35, and Colette Tooley, 24, all from Louisville, Ky., were each charged with a first-degree felony count of drug possession. They are being held in the Hancock County jail.
They could each be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine if convicted.
