SANDUSKY — Two Fostoria men have been arrested in Sandusky after police discovered 17 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.
Brandon Glenn, 20, and Roman Arana, 20, are charged with felony marijuana trafficking and marijuana possession after Sandusky police discovered 17 one-gallon plastic bags containing the pot. The bags were covered up in the back seat of the vehicle.
According to Sandusky police, the arrests were made at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday when officers stopped the vehicle, driven by Glenn, at the intersection of West Monroe Street and Central Avenue for expired license plates.
Officers said the marijuana has a street value of roughly $17,000.
Both men were taken to the Erie County jail, where they are each being held on $30,000 bond.
