BOWLING GREEN — A 58-year-old Gibsonburg man was killed Saturday in a head-on crash on Ohio 105, just east of Bowling Green. A Pemberville couple were injured.
David Kaseman was pronounced dead at Wood County Hospital, the Bowling Green post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
The state patrol said Kaseman was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo west on Ohio 105 at about 10:25 a.m. Saturday when the car went left of center, striking an eastbound Buick Rendezvous head-on near the Dunbridge Road intersection.
The Buick was driven by William Beard Jr., 74, of Pemberville, the patrol said. Beard and his wife, Judy, 73, a passenger, were taken to Wood County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol said.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged, the patrol said.
Assisting at the scene were the Bowling Green Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Center Township and Bowling Green fire departments, and Mid-County Ambulance.
