Findlay school board holding special session

The Findlay school board will hold a special session at noon today to discuss employment and compensation of personnel.
School board President Shane Pochard has told The Courier that a decision on a new superintendent could come today, but he has not confirmed that a candidate has been chosen.
The two remaining finalists for the position are Edward Kurt, superintendent of Margaretta Local Schools in Castalia, and Tod A. Hug, superintendent of Ayersville Local Schools.
Margaretta’s school board was scheduled to meet Thursday to discuss Kurt’s employment.
