CSX railroad crossings on Findlay’s East Sandusky and Lincoln streets were temporarily closed after a tractor-trailer got stuck in the snow and was hit by a train Tuesday afternoon.
The tracks were reopened at 8:34 p.m. Tuesday, city police said.
A tractor-trailer was attempting to turn into Holtgreven Scale & Electronics Corp., 420 E. Lincoln St., about 3:13 p.m. when it got stuck in the snow along the train tracks and was struck by a train, blocking East Lincoln Street.
The Findlay Police Department said no injuries were reported, and the truck was towed from the scene.
Police erected barriers to temporarily block traffic on East Sandusky and East Lincoln streets between East Street and East Blanchard Street.
