Bank robber sent to prison

UPPER SANDUSKY — A Carey man was sentenced on Friday to three years in prison for robbing a village bank.
Chad E. Gossman, 38, had pleaded guilty in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court to robbing the First Citizens National Bank, 129 E. Findlay St.
On Jan. 14, Gossman entered the bank and demanded money from a teller before running away, according to police.
No one was hurt in the robbery, police said.
Judge Kathleen Aubry ordered restitution of $140 and credited Gossman with 34 days already served for the third-degree felony, Prosecutor Jonathan Miller said.
