The Kiwanis Club of Findlay will host the “Original” Pancake Day, featuring all- you-can-eat buttermilk pancakes and locally processed sausage, on Saturday, March 15 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Findlay High School cafeteria, 1200 Broad Ave. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and seniors over 62. There is a $1 discount per ticket if purchased in advance at Bindel’s Appliances, AAA of Findlay, the Findlay East branch of First Federal Bank or First National Bank, Findlay West Office. Tickets can also be purchased from any member of the Kiwanis Club of Findlay.
Since the Original Pancake Day 56 years ago, Findlay Kiwanis has served up pancakes to more than 150,000 people and raised more than $500,000 for charitable purposes. As the club’s signature fundraiser, Pancake Day benefits a wide range of community services including Santa’s House, Findlay Young Miss/Youth Softball, scholarships, numerous nonprofit organizations and youth programs. Kiwanis also sponsors service leadership development programs for students in elementary school through college as well as the Aktion Club of Findlay at Blanchard Valley Center.
