Rural Development, a U.S. Department of Agriculture agency, will host a Monday meeting about funding opportunities through the Rural Energy For America Program.
In addition, the Ohio Development Services Agency and the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority will provide information about assistance available through those agencies.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. Monday in the Rural Development office at the Hancock County Agricultural Service Center, 7868 County 140, Findlay.
The Rural Energy for America Program is meant to encourage rural, small, for-profit businesses and agricultural producers to install renewable energy systems and make energy-efficiency improvements.
A grant program can help pay for 25 percent of future project costs, while a loan program can help pay for 75 percent of future project costs.
