Hardin County fire displaces rural family

FOREST — Fire displaced a rural Forest family early Sunday morning, according to the American Red Cross.
The fire was reported at 9:18 a.m. Sunday at 14710 Hardin County 2, according to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
No information on the fire was available late Sunday evening.
The Red Cross of Hancock County assisted three adults, who were given a place to stay as well as personal hygiene items, food and clothing.
The Red Cross will continue to aid this family with resources and referrals to other agencies.
