Police arrest Findlay man after early morning chase

A Findlay man was arrested following an early morning chase Thursday through several streets and yards near the University of Findlay.
According to Findlay police, an officer attempted to stop a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Robert Ferdinandsen, 54, of Findlay, about 4:29 a.m. at the intersection of Frazer and Bolton streets, but Ferdinandsen failed to comply and drove away.
The officer pursued Ferdinandsen down several city streets and through residential yards. According to a police report, Ferdinandsen was driving in a yard at 712 College St. when he tried to maneuver the truck between a tree and telephone pole and the vehicle became stuck.
