The National Weather Service says 2 to 4 inches of snow could fall on the region today, and another half-inch tonight.
The weather service forecasts a high today of 36 degrees and a low tonight of around 23.
But WTOL meteorologist Robert Shiels isn’t expecting much snow. He said there is a chance of rain and snow showers today, with a high of 39 degrees. Shiels said a “minor accumulation of snow is possible.”
Any snow won’t stick around for long. Sunday’s high temperature is predicted to be in the upper 40s, and Monday’s high is expected to be in the low 60s.
