A Friday night duplex fire at 105 S. Cory St. caused an estimated $29,000 in damage, the Findlay Fire Department reported Saturday.
The owner of the building, Nancy Sites of Bloomdale, is believed to be insured, firefighters said.
Twenty-eight firefighters responded to the blaze, which was reported at 9:20 p.m. Friday.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which took about 20 minutes for firefighters to contain.
The fire started in the upstairs unit, but the cause is unknown, the Fire Department said Saturday.
The Fire Department did not know if the renter of the upstairs unit, Joseph Lyon, had insurance.
The blaze did little damage to the ground floor, although it sustained water damage, the department reported.
