Riverside Park pool to open May 31; water slide planned

A twin-flume water slide will make its debut on May 31 when the Riverside Park pool opens for the season.

Also new this year will be a picnic shelter within the pool area, and several reclining lounge chairs.

Daily admission will cost $1.75 for children 18 years old and younger, up 25 cents from last year, and $3.50 for adults, unchanged from last year.

Season passes can be purchased at the Findlay-Family YMCA’s downtown branch on Lincoln Street. If bought before May 25, passes for YMCA members cost $29 for youth, $59 for adults, and $89 for families.

For non-members, prices are $35 for youth, $69 for adults, and $109 for families.

If bought after May 25, passes for YMCA members will cost $39 for youth, $79 for adults, and $129 for families. For non-members, prices will be $45 for youth, $89 for adults, and $149 for families.

The City of Findlay owns the pool and maintains it, while the YMCA will again be in charge of operations and programming.
