A McComb man who was shot while burglarizing a village home was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison.
Christian G. Moreno, 24, pleaded guilty in Hancock County Common Pleas Court to a second-degree felony charge of burglary.
At about 1:45 a.m. Oct. 22, he trespassed by force at 314 N. Todd St. in McComb to commit theft, according to police. The resident shot Moreno, who was treated for injuries at Blanchard Valley Hospital and taken to jail, police said.
McComb police said the resident who shot him, Tanner Grose, would not face charges.
