Weekend: Spring Fling

The Voices in Perfection Show Choir Spring Fling will be held on Friday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. in R.L. Heminger Auditorium at Findlay High School. The cabaret-style program features solo, ensemble and full group performances by the VIP members and accompanying instrumentalists, The Rippers.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students. Senior citizens with a Findlay City Schools pass receive free admission. Tickets can only be purchased at the door. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m.
VIP and The Rippers will perform their spring show, which includes the following selections: “Route 66,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “From Where I Stand,” and “R.O.C.K. In The U.S.A.”
The group recently represented Findlay High School in Chicago performing in exhibition at The Field Museum of Natural History in March.
Members of VIP are: Kaylee Beard, Lindsay Blackwell, Emily Block, Gabbi Calvert, Grace Dickmann, Erin Dunne, Sophie Evans, Emily Howard, McKenna Kouns, Alyssa Montalbine, Kimberly Murphy, Ellysia Price, Emily Rabinowitz, Brooke Rettig, Alexis Rothenbuhler, Kendyl Sammet, Madi Sloman, Hannah Smith, Allison Snider, Kelsey Welch, Jordan Whitman, Hannah Willeke, Olivia Williams, William Bright, Bryce Esper, Carter Fox, Calvin Meyer, Zach Montgomery, Patrick Pavlidis, Jacob Pepple, Zach Short, Jordan Simons, Aaron Strahm, Justin Turley, Steven Wagner and James Wittenmyer.
Members of The Rippers are Race Lerma and Austin Hamilton.
Seth Carey directs VIP. Alycia Althaus, a Findlay High School graduate, is the assistant director and Ashley Carey, also a Findlay High School grad, is the choreographer.
