Despite a contested Republican race for commissioner, a countywide renewal levy for Blanchard Valley Center, and a tax issue for the Findlay Schools, only 20 percent of Hancock County’s registered voters participated in Tuesday’s primary election.
Jody O’Brien, director of the Hancock County Board of Elections, said there are 49,736 registered voters in Hancock County and only 9,888 voted on Tuesday.
“That’s not very good,” O’Brien said.
