Hanco Emergency Medical Service will host an open house for its new Hanco Station 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Station 2 is located at 1155 Croy Drive.
The open house will include tours of the new station, Hanco ambulances, and games for children, including a bounce house and face painting.
Hot dogs, chips and popcorn will be served.
The station is expected to open at the end of May, or early June.
The new station, along with Hanco Station 1, located at 417 Sixth St., will be staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
A back-up Hanco unit will be housed at the Liberty Township Fire Department building, 7692 Hancock County 140.
The unit provides on-call medical response within Liberty Township on the west side of Findlay, and within Findlay City limits and surrounding communities.
Hanco, part of the Blanchard Valley Health System, was founded in 1971 and has been providing emergency medical care to the city of Findlay and Hancock County for more than 40 years.
