Weekend: Fort Findlay Playhouse holding auditions

Findlay’s award-winning community theatre, The Fort Findlay Playhouse, is announcing public auditions for its opening show of the 2014-15 season, “Moon Over Buffalo.”
This comedy by Ken Ludwig starred Carol Burnett and Philip Bosco on Broadway and was nominated for three Tony Awards.
The story takes place in 1955 in the greenroom of a theatre in Buffalo, New York, and revolves around a once famous acting family in the twilight of their careers. When famous Hollywood director Frank Capra comes to see them, a riot of confusion and comedy ensues.
Veteran artistic director Jim Toth is looking for four males, ages 25 to 60 and four females from 20 to 80.
New actors are encouraged to try out and no preperation is required.
There will be two tryout sessions, Sunday, June 1, and Monday, June 2. Both nights will start at 7:30 p.m.
Show dates are July 17-20 and 24-26. The play will be produced by Barb Pace and presented through agreement with Samuel French Inc.
