FOREST — Three people suffered minor injuries in an accident at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Delaware Township 186 at 6:51 p.m. Saturday, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Barbra Butler, 44, of Findlay, was driving a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado south on Township 186 and stopped at the U.S. 30 intersection. She then pulled into the path of an eastbound 2008 Jeep Commander driven by Vincent Robinson, 52, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, the sheriff’s office reported. Both vehicles came to rest south of the intersection.
Butler was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Blanchard-Dunkirk-Washington Emergency Medical Service for a minor injury. Robinson and his passenger, Jordan Robinson, 14, of Fort Wayne, were treated and released at the scene, the sheriff’s office reported.
Butler was cited for failure to yield the right of way, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office reported the Chevy sustained heavy passenger side damage and the Jeep sustained moderate front-end damage.
Appleseed Emergency Medical Service, Forest-Jackson Fire Department, Dick’s Towing and Miller Rigging assisted at the scene.
