The Interstate 75-U.S. 224 interchange in Findlay is already a construction zone, and this tractor-trailer mishap plugged it up Friday night. The driver of the rig turned too sharply while exiting I-75 about 5 p.m., and the trailer dropped off the southbound exit ramp. As a result, both the exit ramp and the westbound lane of U.S. 224 were blocked until the rig could be pulled out of its predicament, according to the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol. Westbound traffic on U.S. 224 was diverted onto northbound I-75. No injuries were reported. The interchange is under construction as a new U.S. 224 bridge is built over the interstate.
