Historic bomber visits

“Diamond Lil,” a rare B-24 Liberator bomber flown during World War II, arrived Monday at the Findlay Airport for a three-day visit, attracting spectators and veterans who flew aboard such warplanes. The plane is available for public tours and rides. The aircraft was brought to Findlay by the Commemorative Air Force, an organization that promotes World War II aviation history. Cockpit tours are available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday. Tours cost $5 per person. Children younger than 10 are admitted free.
