Weekend collision injures 2

A Findlay woman and a McComb man were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday evening at Hancock County 180 and Ohio 15, just south of Findlay.

Kylie Ostheimer, 23, and Todd Hankin, 44, were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said Ostheimer was southbound on County 180 in a Pontiac Grand Am when she failed to yield the right of way at the Ohio 15 intersection at about 6:29 p.m. Hankin, driving a tractor-trailer eastbound on Ohio 15, was unable to avoid a collision, struck Ostheimer’s car and then overturned in the median.

Ostheimer was cited for failing to yield the right of way, according to the patrol.
