Arcadia man injured in single-car accident

ARCADIA — An Arcadia man was injured Saturday morning in a single-car accident on Hancock County 216 near Cass Township 247, just west of Arcadia.

Elden Bohn, 84, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Bohn was driving a Buick east on County 216 when he lost control of the car, drove into a ditch and hit a power pole about 10:46 a.m., the sheriff’s office said. Bohn was pinned inside the car and had to be extricated, the sheriff’s office said.

The accident remains under investigation.

Washington Township Fire Department, Hancock-Wood Electric and Dick’s Towing assisted at the scene.
