A Findlay man was injured Saturday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Hancock County 180.
Sean Farrell, 26, lost control of his motorcycle at 6:40 a.m. while traveling north on Hancock County 180, just south of Ohio 568 in Marion Township, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. Farrell wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was thrown from his motorcycle as it went off the right side of the road, according to the sheriff’s office.
Farrell was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital via Hanco Ambulance and was later taken to the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus by air ambulance, the sheriff’s office said. The accident is still under investigation.
The Vanlue Fire Department and Dick’s Towing also assisted at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
