Kenton man injured in U.S. 68 crash

A Kenton man was injured Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle accident at the U.S. 68-Ohio 15 interchange in Eagle Township, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph Peddicord Jr., 70, of Kenton, lost control of his 2000 Dodge Ram Wagon van on the U.S. 68 exit ramp at 9:17 a.m. and went off the south side of the roadway. The van then traveled down into a ditch and came to rest on the driver’s side.
Peddicord was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance.
Peddicord was cited for operation without reasonable control.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by R&A Towing. Assisting at the scene was the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department.
