Teenager injured in rural accident

A Mount Cory teenager was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday on an icy stretch of Hancock County 313 in Eagle Township, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
Zoe Benroth, 17, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries, the patrol said.
The patrol said Benroth lost control of her northbound Nissan on the ice-covered road, slid left of center and struck a southbound BMW operated by Robert Bartenschlager, 47, of Findlay.
Benroth was cited for driving left of center, the patrol said.
Dick’s Towing, and R and A Towing assisted at the accident scene.
