Collision injures McComb woman

A McComb woman was injured in a two-car accident Wednesday morning at the intersection of Ohio 12 and Hancock County 236, on Findlay’s east side, the Findlay Police Department reported.

Mary L. Grose, 75, of McComb, was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries, police said.

Grose was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Faith D. Reed, 25, of Findlay.

According to police, Reed was driving south on Hancock County 236 at 9:25 a.m. when she failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of Ohio 12. She drove into the side of a truck driven by Zachery G. Weaver, 30, of Waldo, police said.

Reed and Weaver were not injured, police said. Reed’s vehicle was towed.

Reed was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and driving under suspension, police reported.
