A town hall meeting to discuss the opiate epidemic will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church’s Great Room, 2330 S. Main St.
Community leaders attending include State Sen. Cliff Hite, State Rep. Robert Sprague, Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik, Hancock County Commissioner Tim Bechtol, Hancock County Sheriff Michael Heldman, Common Pleas Court Judge Reginald Routson, Findlay Municipal Court Judge Mark Miller, Hancock County Probate and Juvenile Court Judge Kristen Johnson, Acting Police Chief John Dunbar, and LuAnne Cooke, who is Gov. John Kasich’s office representative.
Public participation will help guide the work of the Hancock County Opiate Task Force to become more effective in creating a safe and healthy community. The meeting is sponsored by the Opiate Task Force and the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services.
