RAWSON — A Rawson home suffered “extensive damage on all floors” Wednesday night in a fire, Rawson Fire Chief Eric Wilkins said Thursday.

Firefighters from the Rawson, Mount Cory, Jenera, Bluffton, Blanchard Township and Allen Township fire departments were called to the fire at 16523 Hancock County 12, south of Rawson, Wilkins said.

The fire was first reported around 9:20 p.m., and firefighters were on the scene until 4 a.m.

The house, which is insured, is owned by Jim Harrold. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. Both the cause of the fire and the source of the fire are undetermined, Wilkins said.
