Findlay police arrested a man who led them on a chase Friday morning before crashing on Londonderry Drive.
Marcus Sierra, 18, of Findlay, faces multiple charges.
According to police, an officer initially stopped Sierra at 9:46 a.m. in the McDonald’s parking lot at 1921 Tiffin Ave.
Sierra stopped, but then took off, according to police. A pursuit ensued, going west through parking lots before Sierra turned south onto Londonderry Drive.
He lost control of his vehicle and drove through the front yard of 611 Londonderry Drive, police said, hitting a truck and a small camper that were parked in the driveway. Sierra’s vehicle went under the camper and pushed it into the house, ripping off the house’s gas meter and causing a leak.
Sierra fled on foot, police said, but was later found and arrested. He is being held on unrelated warrants at the Hancock County jail, police said.
Sierra is facing charges of fleeing and eluding, a fourth-degree felony; failure to stop at a stop sign; and leaving the scene of a crash.
Columbia Gas was called and shut the gas off to the house.
