An early Monday morning fire drove two families from an apartment building in the 400 block of Findlay’s Washington Street.
According to Findlay Fire Department officials, the fire was electrical in nature and caused about $5,000 in damage on the second floor of the building at 418 Washington St.
Fourteen firemen responded to the fire at about 1 a.m. The fire was knocked down within 10 minutes.
The names of the families have not been released.
The Red Cross said it provided temporary housing, food, and clothing to the families.
