RESOLUTIONS

  • 9-2018, three readings required, authorizing the mayor to apply for Community Development Block Grant funds for the Howard Street improvement project. Motion to suspend council’s rules and give the resolution its second and third readings approved 10-0. Resolution approved 10-0.
  • 10-2018, three readings required, transferring $14,000 to the Zoning Department, which has taken over the duties of the former Neighborhood Enhancement and Abatement Team. The funds will cover expenses for demolition of dilapidated structures and mowing of unkempt vegetation. Motion to suspend the rules approved 10-0. Resolution approved 10-0.

  • 2018-37, third reading, rezoning 113 Alexander Place from “R2 Single Family, Medium Density” to “M2 Multi-Family, High Density.” Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-38, third reading, rezoning 2131 Spruce Drive from “R2 Single Family, Medium Density” to “R4 Duplex/Triplex, High Density.” Motion to deny the ordinance approved 10-0, defeating the ordinance.
  • 2018-39, third reading, authorizing $1.1 million in second-quarter capital expenditures. Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-41, third reading, changing the city’s rules on junk vehicles and tall grass to make enforcement easier. Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-42, third reading, appropriating $1.2 million for street resurfacing. Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-47, third reading, authorizing the city to seek bids for the purchase of materials, chemicals and service agreements needed by various city departments in 2019.
  • 2018-48, first reading, rezoning 118 Center St. from “R3 Single Family, High Density” to “R4 Duplex/Triplex.”
  • 2018-49, first reading, closing part of East Lincoln Street west of Fishlock Avenue and adjacent to Lots 16654 and 16655 in the Tritch Addition.
  • 2018-50, first reading, transferring $246 from the revolving loan fund to the general expense account. Motion to suspend the rules approved 10-0. Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-51, first reading, appropriating $845,000 for the Fishlock Avenue waterline project. Motion to suspend the rules approved 10-0. Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-52, first reading, appropriating $162,000 for the city fiber loop project. Motion to suspend the rules approved 10-0. Ordinance approved 10-0.
  • 2018-53, first reading, appropriating $96,287 for the Deer Landing waterline oversizing.
