The Blanchard River at Findlay and Ottawa is not likely to reach minor flood stage; however, Eagle Creek in Findlay remained over flood stage Monday night.
According to the National Weather Service, Eagle Creek appeared to crest at 9.48 feet at 9:30 p.m. and had dropped to 9.46 feet by 11 p.m. Minor flood stage begins at 9 feet, and moderate flood stage begins at 10 feet.
The Blanchard River in Findlay was reported at 9.41 feet at 10 p.m., well below minor flood stage, which begins at 11 feet. The river was not expected to climb much higher.
In Ottawa, the Blanchard was reported at 20.65 feet at 10:30 p.m. The river was projected to crest in Ottawa at 21 feet at 8 a.m. today. Minor flood stage begins at 23 feet.
More than 2.6 inches of rain has fallen in Findlay since Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
