RESOLUTIONS

  • 13-2018, first reading, stipulating services the city will provide to three parcels of land, all less than an acre, known as the Lonetree Drive annexation.
  • 14-2018, one reading only, approving $20,000 spent by Findlay Municipal Court on postage for its postage machine. No purchase order was created for the postage. Resolution approved 9-0, with Council President Ron Monday absent.

ORDINANCES

  • 2018-47, third reading, authorizing the city to seek bids for the purchase of materials, chemicals and service agreements needed by various city departments in 2019. Ordinance approved 9-0.
  • 2018-48, third reading, rezoning 118 Center St. from “R3 Single Family, High Density” to “R4 Duplex/Triplex.” Ordinance approved 9-0.
  • 2018-49, third reading, closing part of East Lincoln Street west of Fishlock Avenue and adjacent to Lots 16654 and 16655 in the Tritch Addition. Ordinance approved 9-0.
  • 2018-54, second reading, appropriating $180,000 to extend a waterline along Sandusky Street to Dold Farms. The lowest bidder on the project was Helms and Sons Excavating, Findlay.
  • 2018-55, second reading, appropriating $60,000 for the Blanchard River Greenway Trail Extension.
  • 2018-56, second reading, appropriating $100,000 for improvements to Miracle Field. The money is expected to be reimbursed by the state from Ohio Department of Natural Resources funds. The project is expected to cost $200,000, with private donations paying the balance.
  • 2018-57, second reading, appropriating $617,700 from the city’s water fund to replace waterlines along Concord Court, Milton Street, Summit Street, Woodworth Drive and Merriweather Drive. Helms and Sons Excavating, Findlay, was the low bidder on the Summit and Merriweather projects. Hohenbrink Excavating, Findlay, submitted the low bid on Concord, Milton and Woodworth.
  • 2018-58, first reading, vacating a portion of Carrol Street and Benton Street.
  • 2018-59, first reading, rezoning 221 Lima Ave. from “R2 Single Family, Medium Density” to “M2 Multi-Family, High Density.”
  • 2018-60, first reading, rezoning 239 E. Foulke Ave. from “R2 Single Family, Medium Density” to “R4 Duplex/Triplex, High Density.”
  • 2018-61, first reading, appropriating $75,000 from the city’s water fund for the purchase of fire hydrants. Vote to waive council’s three-reading rule approved 9-0. Ordinance approved 9-0.
  • 2018-62, first reading, appropriating $825,000 donated by Marathon Petroleum Corp. for improvements to Findlay’s downtown based on the city’s development agreement with the company. Vote to waive council’s three-reading rule approved 9-0. Ordinance approved 9-0.
  • 2018-63, first reading, authorizing the city’s service director to enter into a project agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for street resurfacing funds in fiscal year 2019. Vote to waive council’s three-reading rule approved 9-0. Ordinance approved 9-0.
  • 2018-64, first reading, authorizing the city’s service director to enter into a second project agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for street resurfacing funds in fiscal year 2019. Vote to waive council’s three-reading rule approved 9-0. Ordinance approved 9-0.
