The American Red Cross said it assisted a Findlay family after fire damaged their home at 350 Fairlawn Place on Thursday night.
Firefighters were called to the fire at 11:44 p.m. Thursday.
Fire Chief Josh Eberle said fire damage to the house was limited to the living room, but there was smoke damage throughout the home.
Karl Gingrich, head of disaster services at the American Red Cross in Findlay, said the family consisted of two adults, Rebecca and Leval Jones, and four dogs. No one was injured in the fire. The house is near Washington Avenue in the city’s south end. The fire remains under investigation, Eberle said. A damage estimate was not available Friday.
