Upper boys 2nd at Lima Invite

LIMA — Three Upper Sandusky swimmers were triple winners as the Rams’ boys swimming team finished second in the Lima Senior-Lima Central Catholic Invitational on Saturday at the Lima YMCA.
The Rams went 5-1 in the event that was scored in a dual meet format. Upper Sandusky’s lone loss was a 501/2-431/2 decision to Lima Senior.
Evan Scheck scored a win in the 200 individual medley (2:31.86) and teamed with Jeran Ward, Drew Barth and Ryan Outland to win the 200 (1:45.79) and 400 free (3:57.77) relays.
Barth scored an individual victory in the 500 free (6:05.28) and Outland captured the 100 free (57.98) for the Rams.
Upper Sandusky posted a 3-3 record in the girls meet.
Abby Young was second in the 500 free (7:03.29) and Mallory Weininger placed second in the 200 free (2:22.17) to lead the Rams.
