FHS Girls Basketball Charity Events
The Findlay High School girls basketball team will be raffling off an autographed Chris Spielman Ohio State jersey, a gas grill and a bike donated by Muddy River Bicycle Company to raise funds for the James Cancer Research Hospital in Columbus during Findlay’s boys basketball game against Toledo St. John’s tonight. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each or 5 for $20. Winners must be present to win. The girls basketball team is also looking for gently worn shoes for the Soles4Souls program. Donations of children’s, women’s and men’s shoes will be accepted through Feb. 28. A collection box is located in the Findlay High School main office. They may also be dropped off at the home basketball games.
UF Softball Clinic
The University of Findlay softball team is hosting a skills clinic for girls in grades 3 through 12 on Saturday, Feb. 15 inside the Koehler Athletic Center. O-G Karate Tournament
OTTAWA — The third annual Henry Fought Memorial Karate Tournament will be at noon Feb. 16 at Ottawa-Glandorf High School. The tournament is open to all ages and all styles of martial arts are welcome to participate. Registration at the door will begin at 10 a.m. and continue through noon.
