College basketball: GLIAC honors UF’s Kahlig

University of Findlay men’s basketball player Greg Kahlig recorded 26 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in a pair of home wins last week earned him Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division player of the week honors.
The senior forward earned the distinction for the third time this season. He is 10th all-time at Findlay with 1,609 career points and is averaging 22.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game this year.
Kahlig had 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the Oilers’ 91-71 victory over Ohio Dominican on Feb. 6 and followed that with a 24-point performance during Findlay’s 71-64 win against Tiffin on Feb. 8
