The University of Findlay will host Hillsdale College Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball tournament.
The two teams just met on Thursday as Hillsdale racked up an 86-67 win over the Oilers. Findlay is seeded second in the tournament winning a tiebreaker over Walsh as both teamed finished 21-5 overall and 17-5 in GLIAC play.
Lake Superior State (18-4 GLIAC) is the top seed and hosts Malone on Wednesday. Other quarterfinal matchups include fourth-seeded Michigan Tech hosting fifth seed Grand Valley State and No. 3 seed Walsh welcoming No. 6 seed Northwood.
The highest remaining seed after the quarterfinals will host tournament’s semifinals and final on Saturday and Sunday.
The winner of the GLIAC men’s basketball tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.
