College Lacrosse: UF drops opener

MANCHESTER, N.H. — St. Anselm got off to a fast start rolling up a 17-3 halftime lead to stop the University of Findlay 19-7 in the women’s lacrosse opener for both teams Saturday at Grappone Stadium.
Kyra Bradley led the Oilers with three goals while Taylor Trice, Erin Stacho, Sarah Lankton and Allison Kelly each scored one goal apiece.
Marissa Daly scored five goals and Kaitlyn Stazinski netted four for St. Anselm.
Katie Poorman took the loss in goal for Findlay as she recorded eight saves.
Findlay will return to the field today for a noon nonconference match against Merrimack in North Andover, Mass.
