Girls basketball: Lyon steps down as Findlay High coach

Findlay High School girls basketball coach Connie Lyon has told school officials that she is stepping down as the Trojans’ head coach.
Lyon compiled a 156-95 record in 11 seasons as Findlay High’s head coach, and guided the Trojans to their only trip to the girls state tournament (2007). Lyon also led Findlay to Greater Buckeye Conference titles in 2004, 2005 and 2006, district championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and a regional runner-up finish in 2005.
Before coming to Findlay, Lyon coached nine years at Yorktown High School in Indiana. Her career record is 284-159, a .641 winning percentage, in 20 years as a head coach.
