Special Olympics: Bowling Green to host state basketball

BOWLING GREEN — More than 500 Special Olympic Ohio athletes will participate in the 2014 Special Olympic State Basketball Tournament March 21-22 in Bowling Green.
Tournaments featuring 30 teams representing 24 Ohio counties and an individual skills competition with 300 competitors will compete for medals at Bowling Green State University’s Stroh Center, Perry Field House and the Bowling Green Training and Community Center.
Putnam County’s Special Olympic team will play Belmont County in a Men’s Division V semifinal game at 4 p.m. March 21.
