UF roundup: Western equestrian wins regional title

Josh Clevenger finished first and Erika Druker second in the high point rider standings to lead the University of Findlay Western equestrian team to an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association regional championship on Saturday.
Tiffin University was second in the competition, which qualified the top two individuals in each division to the IHSA semifinals to be hosted by UF on March 29-30.
The University of Findlay English equestrian team also took part in an IHSA regional at the James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex. The top two individuals from each class advance, along with UF team riders, to zone competition April 5 at Lake Erie College in Painesville.

Lacrosse falls to 0-5
Mercyhurst raced to a 16-4 hallftime lead and cruised to a 25-9 win over the University of Findlay on Sunday in a women’s college lacrosse match at Donnell Stadium.
Sarah Lankton scored five goals and Taylor Trice had three for UF. (0-5).
Mercyhurst had a 40-18 edge in total shots in improving to 3-1 on the season.
