FHS basketball: Findlay’s Miller headed to Taylor

UPLAND, Ind. — Findlay High’s Braden Miller, a 5-foot-9 guard on the Trojans basketball team, has committed to play college basketball for Taylor University, the school announced on Wednesday.
Miller, a two-year starter for Findlay High who earned both athletic and academic all-Three Rivers Athletic Conference honors, averaged 4.8 points and almost 3 rebounds a game his senior season. Noted for his defensive play, Miller led Findlay with 43 steals, but also shot 46 percent (19 of 41) from 3-point range and averaged over 2 assists per game.
Taylor University was once a member of the Hoosier-Buckeye Conference, along with the University of Findlay. The school remains a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes in the Crossroads League.
